This is an excellent guide to understanding how to stretch your muscles properly to obtain maximum benefit from toning and conditioning those muscles and to avoid injuring them. Visualizing the muscles and how to stretch them can also provide pain relief if your muscles are tight or have already been injured. You also gain insight into how your body is constructed and how it works. I recommend this book highly.I give it five stars.

An illustrated guide to performing a variety of stretches with instructions and drawings showing the locations of the muscles. The book is organized by groups of muscles and the first portion of the book is an overview of the how to and why of stretching. While it doesn't go into detail of the various muscles and joints it is great for getting you stretching the areas you may be having trouble with.
