Add a CommentElizabeth Haynes delivers yet another thrilling read! A well developed story and characters. Her use of dividing the plot between the past to link to the present is well done and helps build suspense. Almost as good as her first thriller, Into the Darkest Corner.
I enjoyed this book except the build up to the supposed terrible danger that the heroine was placed in, fell really flat for me. The comments as to " you have no idea how dangerous or what you are dealing with" really didn't come across in the end as a big deal. It was disappointing. That said, I liked the flow the characters and would read this author again.
Decent mystery. doesn't telegraph *every* surprise too loudly.
