I know I'm not the right audience for this, but this is a pop culture phenomenon I've avoided for too long. And part of it was filmed in Oregon. It was one of the more unintentionally hilarious movies I've seen, and I'm surprised it hasn't become a Rocky Horror-like cult film. R. Pat and K. Stew have both pursued far more interesting careers than this series suggested. The Oregon scenery (the Gorge is featured prominently) is nice.

Twilight is a romantic fantasy film starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. It is 2 hours, 2 min and was released in 2008 (Canada). Based off of Stephanie Meyer book, Twilight is about high schooler Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Jacob Black). After moving to Forks, Washington to live with her dad, she meets handsome and mysterious Edward along with his adopted siblings. Upon witnessing several odd behavioural changes in Edward, Bella comes to the conclusion that he and his family are Vampires. For the most part, Twilight (the movie) is very much like the book, only having minimal changes. Going by the old saying, “The book is always better than the movie” I have to give Twilight 3 stars. At times I didn’t like the acting and thought the romance was somewhat cheesy, compared to the book. Bella also had such an annoying personality. In the book she had a down-to-earth personality, but in the movie she was weak and always needed to be the damsel in distress. I did love the rest of the cast, including Alice (Ashley Greene) and Jasper Cullen (Jackson Rathborne). They were a breath of fresh air, compared to Bella and her “whiney” ways. Although it has it ups and downs, this is a great movie to watch with friends over and over again!

Twilight was one of the most disappointing movies I have ever watched. I read the entire series, and the first thing I thought of the movie was that it was not good, in any way. I felt as if the entire movie was completely cheesy, and didn't seem realistic in any way, shape, or form. Kristen Stewart, who played the main character, Bella, portrayed the character as a serious and dull girl. When you read the book, Bella was never that serious or monotone. I didn't enjoy Edward's (played by Robert Pattinson) acting, either. Everyone in this movie acted horribly and it made most people think that the books were not good. You are either obsessed with the Twilight movies, or think they suck. And I am one of the people that did not enjoy it. The other movies in the Twilight series were just as corny, and I believe that they should've done a better job creating movies that were good. They are based off amazing books, after all.

They changed only a couple things in the first movie, which is nice, but they change more things as the movies progressed. The casting was very well done, especially for Jacob Black, played by Taylor Lautner. All of the Cullens are done well also. I recommend reading the books first though, because they are, as always, MUCH better. ;)

I really liked it I don't get why some people hate it. Although it wasn't my favourite of the series.

Good movie, great special effects. The specific dvd I borrowed has a flaw in the main disc. It sticks on Track 14 @ 7 minutes 51 seconds, will not forward to next frame. Will only reverse. Needs to be remedied or replaced.

I knew that this movie was going to be bad,but the script alone is so terrible it turned out to be much worse than i ever expected it to be period.I should have never changed my mind about seeing this after blatantly skipping this FREE DVD rental at the public libraries for a very long time until now,BUT I DIGRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I honestly liked it. It wasn't as bad as everyone says it is. I did think that it was a bit mellow-dramatic at times but overall I liked it.

"please just tell me one theory". His eyes still smoldered at me. "um, well, bitten by a radioactive spider?"was he a hypnotist, too? Or was i just a hopeless pushover? " that's not very creative," he scoffed.
I'm sorry, thats all i've got,"I said ,miffed" You're not even close," he teased.
"No spiders?"
"And no radioactivity?"
" Dang." sighed
" Krpytonite doesn't bother me either," he chuckled
" You're not supposed to laugh remember?"
He struggled to compose his face.
