Join a boy and his grandfather as they enjoy a snow day in the park!

Every child loves a snow day--no school and snowball fights galore! But Sam has to wait for Granddad, even though all the other kids have already gone to the park . . . and all the dogs . . . and all the zoo animals! Only when the two finally arrive does Granddad see why Sam was in such a hurry--and they have the best time playing with everyone in the snow.

It`s a snow day! A boy is eager to go and play in the snow but his Granddad takes his time. Granddad is taking forever! But when they are finally in the park – they have so much fun together!
Nice funny story and expressive illustrations!

Excellent book written by an England author to understand the family relationships and according to the human ages, time is different to do things, to enjoy things and activities. Funny snow story. Lovely illustrations.

The first and probably most clumsy of Sam Usher's "Seasons with Granddad" series. The story follows much the same pattern as "Froggy Gets Dressed" with the young boy forgetting to put on pieces of his snow suit in his excitement to go out and play, needing to be reminded by his slow and patient grandfather. Rather than ending on a joke, though, this series always ends on a lesson of patience and the understanding that there will always be fun things to do when you go on an adventure.

Imaginative story featuring the special relationship between a boy and his grandfather. My favorite is the Quentin Blake - esque illustrations.
