This is one of the best books of the Private series. There are two parallel plots going on, both set in Rio in the days leading up to the 2016 Olympics. The commentary about the two economic classes in Rio can’t be ignored as it is integral to the story line.

I've loved all of Patterson's series book. Right up there with Alex Cross, is the Private series. Another score from one of my favourite fiction writers!

I like James Patterson books a lot, even the ones he is co-authoring. That said, the PRIVATE books generally are also a fun read, but not quite up to the same level as his stand-alone's. This one is the same - very entertaining and interesting settings and stories, but with a few too many improbable things popping up to save the day at the last minute.

I really like this book, the Private novels, and James Patterson!
~This one picks up where Private London ends. It's got action, adventure, and one of my favorite heroes. As an English major I can and do appreciate all genres; take it for the entertainment value it's intended for, and you won't be disappointed :D

Good grief this was awful. Much of it seemed to be lifted right out of Angels and Demons. The best thing I can say for works like this from the Patterson factory are that they are very fast reading.

It was just Ok.

Too, too predictable!

The romance between members of Private weakens the story line. Please don't turn this series into a romantic novel.

Another action filled addition to the Private Series. Enjoyed this one more that Private Paris. Lots of action and drama in typical Patterson fast page turning fashion. Two interesting story lines keep you going to the finish line.
