I'm a heavy, heavy reader, and Thomas' book remains in my top ten, even twenty years after I read it.
Like the movie, it confounds genres, being equal parts mystery, thriller, and horror.
I listened to Cathy Bates read this on a long trip from Edmonton north to Ft. McMurray, and picturing her Annie Wilkes (Misery) sitting there reciting it made it even more fun.
