Definitely kept my interest, and it was a nice change of pace for a book in English to place the emphasis on the Italian emigre and espionage experience and no the British, American or German. Also, Alfred Molina does a really great job on the narration, though I confess that at times he was hard to understand when he pitched his voice very low.
