Crime's Changing

Rate this:
Lethbridge regional police say white-collar crimes are up in the city with residents stealing from their employers and concocting elaborate schemes to get more green. Last year police investigated 17 cases of theft over $5000, an increase of about 13 per cent from 2003. "People look at these types of crimes and it's not so much an individual they're stealing from, it's a corporation. They think it's a victimless crime, when it isn't", says Staff Sgt. Jeff Cove; Marci Stickel, Catherine Anne Steele, Bryan Clements, Tracy Lynn Freire.
