The writing is superior, but the premise, and sequences are somewhat perplexing, identifying if there really is a good guy in this book? And the actions of the main character are too inconsistent.

I guess I'm being unfair by rating the book so low, but it didn't pass the 100-page test

A confusing tale of intrigue at too slow a pace. I quit after 200 pages.
