This book is environmental propaganda at its worst. A bear loves to hug all animals including trees. When a man comes to cut down a tree - he is portrayed as the villain, and the bear who rescues the tree which has feelings - ? is the hero. The irony is that the book is made from paper which comes from cut down trees.
Gives new meaning to the term "bear hug". When he hugged the bunny it reminded me of "Hugless Douglas" where Douglas is a bear that hugs things and animals that bears do not normally hug as well. It's a cute book with a gentle environmental message. 4+
A really cute story about a bear, and a subtle message about non-violence without being preachy.
A wonderful story about caring.
I liked this book because it had lots of trees and bears and different characters. We need to use LESS paper so the trees can live and give us more oxygen.
Big Bear Hug was a good book because the bear kept on hugging everything even his enemies. Another reason this was a good book because it teaches people to not cut down trees, I really liked the pictures.
I liked this book because there was a man who came in with an axe but the bear didn't want him to cut down the tree so he gave him a big bear hug. That scared the man away. The book was made of recycled paper which was awesome.
I liked My Think-a ma jink because he used his imagination to make himself into a giant monster. Also, the pictures were awesome. It was funny when he changed his sister into all those different things.
Perfect Snow had a big army of snowmen. They were frozen. The pictures looked cool because they were made out of play doh.
I liked the book Think a ma Jink because I like using my imagination.
