Wonderful thoughtful story; beautifully descriptive. Nice balance of action, mystery, and character interaction. Written in a postmodern style uncommon and underappreciated in fantasy litterature.

Very original use of mana. WARNING: very discrete and understated mention of lesbianisme and female bisexuality. P.S. Written as an interview about past events; not easiest read and exclusively in the first person.

Beautiful cover art. Nice story idea. That's about all I liked about this book. I didn't get far into it because it was impossible for me to get past the bizarre writing style. And not bizarre in a good way.
