A well written book with a crafted plot. Overall a worthy read. It was definitely not my favorite of the series. I don't care much for the character of the victim and the swan who were featured more than Quirke and his daughter. A disappointment following the cliff hanging plot lines left over from Christina Falls.

This guy can write. The sentences are crafted, always doing more than simply moving theplot. As good as Christine Falls, maybe better. Makes me want to read the third book in the series.
